Waterproof and washable drawer liners

Janet Nelson, 83, of North Fort Myers, Fla. has been using this customizing idea for at least 50 years.

When lining cabinet drawers anywhere in your home, buy the largest plastic tablecloth backed by flannel and cut them to size to line the drawers. They are waterproof and washable and come in all colors and prints, and last a lifetime. Also, unused plastic place mats are sometimes just the right size to line the drawer.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for this great idea.  I have used old kitchen towels so things wouldn’t slide around as cooking utensils will, but this idea is better.
