You go through this every season. It’s time to pack up your spring clothes and you wonder if a certain shirt was even worn and if you should toss or donate it.
Can decide whether to keep or donate items in your closet? Martha Raymond of Maricopa, Ariz. has an ingenious solution to this closet cleaning riddle.
“I turn all the hangars so they wrap from the back to the front across the rod. When an item gets placed back in the closet after wearing or washing, I put the hangar on the rod in the traditional way, front to back. At the end of the season it is easy to see which items have not been worn, thus an good indication to eliminate from the wardrobe and pass on to a charity or such.”
