Are you kidding me? No dessert until your plate is clean enough to turn upside down? I should eat the skin of the chicken and lick up the extra gravy? Disgusting. My children could always have dessert if it were being served. To this day, my adult daughter will still take one bite of a fresh-baked cookie if that is all her body wants. My son is similarly inclined. Is it better for people to clean their plates or for them to throw out the same food that may cause their premature death? Give to charity and throw out food after “your body has had enough.”
