When Martha Raymond of Maricopa, Ariz., changes out her closets each season, she turns all the hangers so they wrap from the back to the front. “When an item gets placed back in the closet after wearing or washing, I put the hanger on the traditional way, front to back,” she writes. At the end of the season, she can easily see which have not been worn and can be given to charity.

    Martha, you must be very well off to be able to change out your wardrobe each year due to the season. I usually buy clothes when the old ones wear out, not because its winter or summer. That sort of thinking went out in the ’20′s and you live in a climate that has the same temps year round. Get real lady.
