Winnie Blencowe of Hendersonville, N.C., has two ways that help her increase her charitable giving: First, she takes advantage of double- and triple-couponing and donates her purchases to a local mission or food pantry. And when she has coupons she will not use before they expire, she finds an organization that will send them to military families.

Many of us stretch a dollar by clipping coupons or printing coupons from printable coupon websites like Printapons, and when stores double or triple the face value of those coupons, the savings can really add up.

    Winnie,
I am retired military.  I usually have ‘lots’ of coupons which I toss.  Would love to get them to a military family.  Let me know how.  Thanx!                Ted@ lesserted94@gmail.com

Most American Legion Auxilleries collect coupons & send them to overseas
commissaries.  There they are honored up to 6 mos. after expiration.  Let me
know if you’d like more info.

Help! I can’t find a family to give my coupons away. I’ve did some research and seems like you would need to send it to a base but I heard that it might not get to the families in time and they end up tossing it. Are there any websites that you suggest? I would love to give them away to a family.
