To keep parsley and cilantro bunches fresh longer, Annette Gerhardt of Huachuca City, Ariz., cuts the ends of the stems as soon as she gets them home, then stands them in a container of fresh water in the refrigerator, with a plastic bag with holes over the top. She finds that the herbs stay fresh much longer than when put in a plastic bag in the produce drawer.
