Reader Tip of the week: This officer shares a foot soldier tip

LS-TIP-DRYER-HI-123012“Working out in the gym when I was a young Air Force officer, I used to get athlete’s foot frequently,” writes retired lieutenant colonel Thomas Schwartz. “I tried … medication, but it always came back. Since I started using a hair dryer after toweling, I have not had a case of athlete’s foot in over 40 years.”

Further, he suggests drying toes with a hair dryer twice a day. The itching will stop after the first day.
